Adventure

Most of our trips are nature based and cater to a clientele interested in a bit of adventure. We are not mountain climbers nor sky-divers ourselves, but adventure tourism is so advanced in today's world that there is something for the person who yearns for a more adventurous and outdoor life.

SocialTreks: Some of the best products on offer in this segment are trekking adventures, which Nepal is famous for. We offer everything from a 1900m highest point, 2.5 day hike on the Chepang Hills to Chitwan, to a full 24 day expedition trek to the Annapurna Circuit and Sanctuary, which reach th Thorong La pass at 5412m. If of course, you would like to test yourself against the mountains, there are trekking peaks that are usually above 6000m that we provide support to help climb, like the Mera Peak, the Island Peak etc.

Adrenalin Rush: For the people who can take in a bit more height and survive on adrenalin, we have the second highest bunjy in the world and the world's giant'est' swing and a tandem flight on a paraglider, with the Annapurna ranges as the picturesque setting.

Big Splash: Water lovers have the opportunity of rafting and kayaking on some of the world top rivers right here in Nepal, all under the able guidance of fully trained river guides renown in the world for their skills.

Roaaaar: Nepal's safari trips are a far cry from the big game safaris in Africa, but offer the few places in the world to view the endangered one horned Rhino from atop an Indian Elephant, and if you are totally lucky, the Royal Bengal Tiger. This is a place to chill out, and is totally worth the price you pay, which of course, is also far cheaper than the African trips.

Adventure on self generated power: Nepal has so many mountain biking tracks that we have lost count, and it is believed that in Kathmandu Valley alone, you could bike for a month easily on different tracks. We have the longest altitude drop downhill in the world, from a 5000+ m pass in Tibet to about 1100 in the Bhote Koshi Valley, the adrenalin rush of which cannot be matched as well as the ardous trips from Lhasa to Kathmandu (about 1000 kms) and the even longer expedition to Mt. Kailash.

So, everyone else also offers these trips, so why are we different? We do it with a little gentleness, keeping in mind tourism for the future, benefits to the community, risks of environmental damage, the erosion of culture, all this with one aim in mind - exceeding your holiday expectations. Convincing enough? No, please send us an enquiry and we will explain more.

Nepal is judged as one of the adventure capitals of the World. Welcome to Adventure Central!

  • White Water Rafting  ( 7 items )

Nepal has earned a reputation as one of the best destinations in the world for white water rafting. Nepal's thundering waters, coming from the glaciers of the mighty Himalaya, provide unmatched thrills for rafting and immersing oneself in the landscape. A rafting trip is bound to be the highlight of your stay in the country.

Rivers are graded on a scale of one to six, with one being a swimming pool and six a one-way ticket to your maker. Four is considered to be quite challenging without being exceedingly dangerous to the novice rafter. Five requires some previous river experience.

  • mtb trips  ( 6 items )
Nepal’s diverse terrain is a mountain biker’s dream adventure come true. Mountain biking offers an environmentally sound way of exploring this magnificent country, its landscape and living heritage. Because this is a spartan, laborious mode of travel, it is also considered the way to travel by the so-called “purists”.
