Raj (actually his name is Vishwaraj Gyawali) is the Founder Director of socialtours.com and a partner in socialtreks.com He looks after the corporate marketing and strategic development of the organisation. In August 2006, he moved to Ghana, and started socialtours.com operations there.

Apart from socialtours.com and socialtreks.com, he is involved in United Planet as co-coordinator Nepal and coordinator Ghana, in Nepal River Conservation Trust as Board member, in Joy Foundation Nepal as Life Member (honourary), KEEP Nepal (life member) and Namaste Nepal (board member)
