OK, there is some confusion abou the name of the company. We are actually two companies under the same management. socialtours.com travels is our tour company and flagship and socialtreks.com adventures is our specialist trekking company. Under Nepalese law, tour companies are allowed to sell treks but not organise them. Hence we have the trekking arm. This section of the website will try and explain who we are, and why we do what we do. It will also try and update you on the insides of the organisation, who works where and is responsible for what. We will also try and explain our vision, mission and our values, and the little steps we are taking in the realm of responsible travel, trying hard to make a small difference in the way tourism is handled in this world. We will explain the charities we support, how we try and give back to society, and the inroads we are making in this regards. You will in the process get introduced to our partners in progress, the associations we have with different agencies around us, and why we are associated with them.

 We are a tightly knit team, working within our vision, mission and values (read that thoroughly on this website. If you do not accept our style, you either have to proove it to us a better way, or not apply at all). Work at socialtours is very dynamic, and you will have to able to work independently. You will have to be able to think out of the box, be creative, critical and inspirational. You have to believe that life is all about learning and never stop at it. You have to love your life, believe that one third of your life (which incidentally is work) should never be wasted... and that you will utilise it fruitfully. We work in a completely different management style, so these jobs do not actually have named positions, only work areas. The work in the end is done as a team.

Nima joined socialtours.com right at the very start, and has been with the company ever since. Since then, he has grown to become a Manager looking after Operations and Sales in general. He is also incidentally partner at socialtreks.com, the specialized trekking arm of the company.
